Everyone is a "Prepper"!
It's just that some take it more seriously than others.
You “Prepare”… meals, homework, to pack a suitcase, to go out in public, for a presentation, to exercise, a shopping list, a garden, and to go to bed.
“Preppers” are everyday people just like you – although they put more thought and effort into planning ahead for unforeseen circumstances.
Site Summary
These resources are designed to assist Christian believers who...

My PREMISE is simple: “Emergency preparedness frees believers to be available to serve others in times of crisis, rather than being concerned about their own immediate safety and survival needs – because we need to be free as Ambassadors of Christ instead of victims of the crisis.”

I grew up with a love for the great outdoors, developing competence in a variety of outdoor living skills. In college, I majored in biological sciences, but graduated with a B.A. in Christian Education.
Then followed three years in the US Army, including a tour in Viet Nam. After receiving an M.A. in seminary, I served as an ordained Pastor of Christian Education for 26 years prior to joining an international Christian pastoral training mission in 2002.
Throughout my life as an outdoor enthusiast, I have refined my interest in emergency preparedness. Out of that interest and my passion for Christian Education has come this focused Emergency Preparedness resource.
The best time to prepare for the future was 20 years ago. The second best time is now.
Christians are not isolated from emergencies. There is a high likelihood that you or others around you will face such events at some point, whether natural or man-made. Preparedness reduces your personal vulnerability and allows you to step forward to serve others since you have made preparations in advance.
Preparedness as a Christian believer refocuses your purpose – from solely self-preservation (survival) toward fulfilling your role as a diplomatic representative of the Lord Jesus Christ.Emergencies may be the most significant times you will ever have to provide a bold witness as a Christ-follower.
Your faith in God and His Gospel are foundational! However, God’s Word instructs us to actively demonstrate our faith by how we live. He is the One who provides for our needs, yet we must not presume that He will do that apart from our obedience.
Although prepping does take some time, it does not need to be expensive. Start with prepping basic food and supplies for one week. By budgeting your time and your resources, you can build on that foundation step-by-step. Prepping is basically a shift in your thinking and your lifestyle.
Prepping as a Christian shifts the focal point to consideration of God’s calling and purpose for your life and witness in this world away from merely a “survivalist” mentality. It connects your spiritual convictions as an integral component of your prepping.
Your preparedness frees you from dependency on emergency services. A severe crisis or a public infrastructure disruption will likely affect response time. Prepping reduces your risk of being a victim and opens the opportunity for you to reach out to others in need.
Trust God as you step out to assist those who are victims of a crisis. Demonstrating the love of Jesus often prompts people to ask, “Why are you doing this?” A simple response might be, “Because I love Jesus, and I think this is something He would want me to do!” At that point you have given a reason and opened the door for further conversation.
Another approach is to ask, “What is something I can pray about for you?” If they share with you, you can either pray at that time or later – and be sure to do so. You can ask later how God answered that prayer.
